Connect to your Counter-Strike 2 server
You join a Counter-Strike 2 server with a single console command. Before your server is publicly joinable, it needs a Steam GSLT — a free token you paste into the dashboard once.
Set your GSLT (one time)
Section titled “Set your GSLT (one time)”CS2 needs a Game Server Login Token to run as a public server.
- Go to the Steam Game Server Account Management page.
- Create a token with App ID
730and copy it (it’s 32 letters and digits). - Open your server at panel.qubesquad.com and paste it into the “Steam GSLT required” banner, then Save & restart.
Your server restarts and becomes a valid public server.
Find your address and port
Section titled “Find your address and port”- In the dashboard, click the address at the top to open Connection details.
- Copy the address and port — for example
your-server.qubesquad.net:27015.
Join the server
Section titled “Join the server”- In CS2, enable the developer console (Settings → Game → Enable Developer Console: Yes).
- Press the
~key to open it. - Type the following with your own address and port, then press Enter:
connect your-server.qubesquad.net:27015
It won’t connect?
Section titled “It won’t connect?”- Stuck on the GSLT banner — the token must be exactly 32 letters and digits, created under App ID
730. - Server offline — check the dashboard status pill and press Start.
- After a CS2 update — restart the server so it’s on the current version.
