Connect to your Minecraft (Java) server

Your Qubesquad Minecraft server has a friendly address like aurora-survival.qubesquad.net. Java players just type that address — no port number needed.

Step 1 — Find your address

1. Go to panel.qubesquad.com and open your server.
2. Next to the game name at the top, click your address to open Connection details.
3. Click it to copy. It looks like your-server.qubesquad.net.

Step 2 — Add the server in Minecraft

1. Launch Minecraft: Java Edition.
2. On the main menu, click Multiplayer.
3. Click Add Server.
4. Give it any name you like, and paste your address into Server Address.
5. Click Done, then double-click the server to join.

That’s it — because we set up a DNS address for you, Java players never have to type a port.

Just installed? Accept the EULA first

Every Minecraft server has to agree to Mojang’s End User License Agreement before it will run. If your server won’t start, open it in the dashboard and click Accept EULA on the banner, then press Start.

Playing on Bedrock too?

If your plan is set up for Java + Bedrock crossplay, Bedrock players (console, mobile, Windows 10/11) join using the same address plus the Bedrock port shown under Connection details → Network details. Enter the address and that port on the Bedrock “Add Server” screen.

It won’t connect?

• “Server offline” / connection timed out — open the dashboard and check the status pill. If it says offline, press Start. If it’s still installing, give it a few minutes.
• Address not found — a brand-new server’s address can take a few minutes to go live. Meanwhile, open Connection details and use the raw IP address shown there.
• Wrong version — your friends’ Minecraft version must match the server’s. Set or check the version under Settings → Version, or reinstall on the exact version from Switch games.
• Still stuck? — open your server and click Get help to start a support ticket with your server’s details already attached.
